so I've (uber rough) demoed 21 black metal tracks (1 is an intro, and 3 are ambient instrumentals + 2 will have lyrics written by the co-composer).
compositionally, it's turned out to be a mix of Emperor-gloryhole era -symphonic BM, late gloryhole era Immortal-esque BM and the 'experimental' BM of DsO.
The tracks written on my wife's organ, have the more experimental vibe for some reason and the ones written on guitar are more 'standard' BM.
So I'm now at the point where I'm trying to write lyrics.
Originally I was going to be intentionally cheesy, doing the clichéd "Satan, forests, it's cold" stuff.... but now I'm thinking of doing something else.
Listening to Haf's Wormlust stuff as well as DsO etc has made me want to try something more 'serious' lyric-wise (not that I can make out what Haf's saying).
I haven't written lyrics since I was a teen & I'm struggling (even to do cheesy ones).
Most of my lyrics have always been political based (ala Grindcore) or silly/gore (ala Goregrind) and some ideas haven't suited the music.
So I thought I'd thought throw it out here to see if anyone here would like to be involved in the project?
If so, PM me and i'll send you some rough demos to see if you have ideas...

PS: forgot to also mention, originally, with the cheese - i was going to put it through an Enochian or black speech (or maybe even Norse) translator for that extra grimness...
