Flying V with trem

I really wan't a flying with trem but i have problems finding a decent one. I don't want schecters hellraiser crap. Recomendations please

Gibson seems to have Flying Vs with tremolo. They are probably awfully expensive though.

I'm pretty sure Dean have some Vs with tremolo too, I know Nile's Dallas have a V with a tremolo on.

I don't think so. I don't know about the Hamer-one, have never seen that before.

I don't like those sharpy jackson-Vs. I like the classic gibson/epi ones more.

The Hamer was custom build with a ibanez trem (has a for hamer a-typical 24 frets board). The gibsons he used (including his red explorer) were all modded. They came stock without a trem.

Well it is all personal preference but the ones i played don't do it for me either. And i do not like the longer bottom point.

I don't like the schecter humbucks, and I'm to lazy to change the pickups the first thing I do when I buy a new guitar.

I did not know. I still don't like them for some reason, I just don't find them comfortable. I'm not a fan BIG of EMG either. I prefer DiMarzio or SD. The EMG ones i've tried out is just too muddy or "Fat".

You mean the "Masters"guitar? No i haven't. But i read a couple of reviews about them and was thinking of getting one a while back.

But since then i got my old kahlerized Gibson V back so i don't need it anymore. The thing that stopped me from buying one back then is all the import tax you have to pay on top of the actual price and shipping. Which is about 23%. So price + shipping = XX amount + 23% over that.

There are rumousr that US masters is ghostbuilding the US-made guitars for a few big companies... (BC Rich a.o.)

The cheaper versions do look decent and have good specs.

for me i just do not like the feel of the guitar that much..

If i had to play one to get through a gig i could do it easily but they just do not feel that comfy.

Our singer has a schecter endorsement with his other band so i have played his guitars. Out of those i liked the V best. i did some setup work on it for him and it is a solid guitar but i do not like the finish. To flashy with all the inlay and binding and i do not like the feel of the finished neck. But that can be matted with a scotchpad to where i like it. But overall to much issues for me fot that ammout of cash.

If you look closely you can see the points are a little longer. Not much, so basicly it follows the size and shape of your Dean (Cool gtr b.t.w.) with the wings about an inch extended. And the radius of the tip is a little smaller too.

I really loke the looks of those. they do occasionally pop up on ebay new and factory direct for not that much. And i do believe they are up a notch compared to Epiphone V's. That waters V did not impress me when i played it.

Off topic @ mr P: You were the one who liked explorers right? You are gonna love my new explorer....
