I view "theme" metal as a bit of a joke. Amon Amarth has some good tunes however.

I rather enjoy their longer, more progressive songs. They're a nice change of pace from the death and black metal bands that just cover vikings as subject matter.



Amon Amarth also gets two thumbs up from me. I cannot recommend enough.
