I think they did a brilliant job of appealing to fans of their older technical style as well as slightly more melodic material from “Grin.” I think most of the songs are better than anything on that album. The atmospheric and progressive parts add some great variety and depth to their sound. And the production is killer!

Ok, this is quite good. I don't listen to thrash, speed or its variations anymore, but this seriously jams. Love the mix too.

In case you are wondering what the guitar parts look like in two of the songs, this guitarist does pretty solid covers. (He has covered many of their older songs, too, under the name Ristridi.)

To be fair, a lot of Tommy's parts are tricky to play exactly the way he does. These are good efforts, which he did within a day or two of each song's release, so no doubt he will tweak them as he gets more familiar with them.

The new Coroner is very good but personnaly I am more into the last Testament: the vocals are various and very interesting !
