what do you think of bands playing in drop e and dropping their bassist all together? seems to be a thing with a lot more bands these days.

Not a big fan, b standard (demanufacture, most crowbar) is the sweet spot I think, although I do like a lot of albums in standard A and drop A, but it gets too a point where it gets too much. Anything below that is eehhhh

Doom/sludge is probably the most acceptable ridiculously dropped tuned guitars

I havent played in drop d in forever.

Pretty much since I got a guitar with a locking system. Pain in the ass

i have 5 six stringers right now, all with floyds. all in different tunings :idea: never really been a fan of drop tunings tho, prefer the standard positions

I have 3, and I only really started like a little over a year ago, played bass for good while though, am decent.

sg copy - standard, E flat, drop d with 9-42's
Les paul copy - D and C standard, drop C with 10-48's
Schector omen 6 - usually B, drop b, A and drop A with 10- 52's

i wanna get a second telecaster so i can have one in standard tuning along with my current one that uses the motW interlude tuning

my lowest guitar is F sharp but its an 8
