This time last year, I was almost 140 lbs (64 kg). Clothes fit me perfectly. Now after getting remarried, I added 20 lbs more (9 kg). It's a struggle to put on trousers and shirts now.

Really disgusted with myself.

This konjac is an excellent low cal high volume food. Brothy high protein or fiber soups are good too.

Ive lost 50 pounds so far still got a ways to go

Protein, fiber and fat every meal to keep hunger away you naturally decrease serving sizes too.

Keep high volume foods like melon or apples around this helps a lot too plus you get water in which helps with hunger as well.

I did my first exercise in almost 3 years yesterday, at home. I feel sore all over. I'll try to ramp this up for another two weeks and then join a gym to keep it regular.

i'm kinda lucky in that i have a high tolerance for repetition, so once i got the basics dialed in its been pretty easy to maintain. the biggest challenge is in finding ways to keep chicken+grains+greens interesting from week to week, since dinner is the only meal of the day where i really have variation

it is definitely more boring than when i was able to be more freewheeling about my daily menus, but bodily-speaking i feel so much better now that i don't mind

still broken. feeling aches and pains elsewhere on my feet and legs from having to compensate while walking.... I will definitely be doing some lower body work outs as soon as I can.

i have had the skoda for one year now but slowling letting it go... planning to give it to my sister when she is old enough, so in 3.5 years' time, already saving and planning for the next car. i want a sedan this time, the whole compact SUV thing is fine and comes in handy sometimes but i'm getting over the SUVification of australian roads. also now the skoda has the first ding, tiny mark above the back right rear tyre from exiting the garage without full attention, so it's no longer pristine. might as well be a 20yr old 300,000 mile + car now

That's obviously not true. I'm not poor, and have a middle-class lifestyle but that doesn't make me a capitalist. You have to be an employer of wage workers to be one, or at the very least ideologically espouse their philosophy to fall into that category.

I don't remember much of the disagreements. Ofcourse when I was first discovering things I was a more vocal advocate. I've mellowed down and don't talk about those things here much nowadays. I appreciate though that you've gone through your evolution, and a lot of people on the board now tend to lean towards similar views because of their own life experiences.
