well it's time, my hair is falling out

Post by zim »

same timeline as my dad, 35 and it's thinning out like crazy lately

i feel kind of overly sad about it but not sad enough to fly to turkey for a hair transplant. i will be shaving my head before the year is over and accept that my freak flag is gone.

I've got some power alleys but it seems to be staying put as is right now.

Hair is currently the longest its been in years. Like maybe 4" long but I usually buzz my head long before it gets to this point.

There is nothing wrong with aging thinning hair, wrinkles, graying are all perfectly fine and all us on this board are heading there.

my hair is almost down to my ass for the second time in my life but the thinning on top just looks like crap. having long hair reminds me of my dad so there's a weird connection there i will miss.

keep that long hair. when i first started balding nearly 10 years ago i went super short, then i was like fuck it and let it grow down to my shoulders, then i buzz cut it again, and now i feel like letting it grow again :redneck:

it's not like it used to be when i was young and healthy but i fucking love the feeling of headbanging with hair as opposed to no hair

i understand the hair transplant thing but i personally think it inspires more confidence to just let it go and be comfortable with it. also i hear the transplant healing process is really painful

Yup. When it's gone, it's fucking gone. Whenever mine decides to fuck off for good, I'll be perfectly fine with it.

I have yet to see a hair transplant that didn’t look awful and obvious.

Better off just shaving it and rocking the facial hair.

Having dark hair doesn't help with the grey hair shit. Most of the folks I know who went grey early all had really dark hair.

Little over a year now :tvrky:

My beard has been slowly losing color for years now. But the last year and change it really sped up. Got a lot of white/grey in there now. Greys finally started showing up on my temples in the last 6ish months too. But that's all pretty minimal overall.
