just like that, a few needles and then POP. the dentist said, "the gums had receded even more now i've removed it, it's common for the body to reject that which was already dying" which i think is preferable to him saying, "now i've removed your tooth i notice that actually it was not necessary, lol".

so now i am down one tooth and mouthy will never be the same can i ever love myself again, or will i drown in yearning for what once was ... not

I've had two back, botton molars pulled like 15 years ago, and one of my top molars sunk down so far in a missing one's place that I had to get pulled as well earlier this year, because it started hurting. Can't say I don't miss them, but it's not a big deal now really. I still chew a lot on the missing teeth side just like they were there anyway

You weirdly do get used to it once it heals. Still, I would be looking for a different dentist after that, fuck that shit.

yeah this was the back bottom left side molar. it had what was described to me as the worst kind of cracks to have and all the enamel was gone. the pain became excruciating and i could barely sleep at night the week before the appointment. and that's with like 6 beers a night and also weed edibles.

You weirdly do get used to it once it heals. Still, I would be looking for a different dentist after that, fuck that shit.

i dunno, i kind of liked him. there was no pain during the extraction or since, it literally solved the problem in an instant. the alternative was $5000 for a root canal and a crown.
