i watch a lot of movies and avoid youtube as much as i can because youtube is bad and sucks

Theres no viable alternative is the issue with youtube. That and their simultaneous over moderation and under moderation.

As someone who has close friends and family living all over the world I see the internet as a godsend to keep connected.

The bad of the internet is primarily social media. Youtube is that but I find it to be the least offensive with tik tok being the worst.
