Yes, it's quite bruising. Would be nice if the cymbals were more audible, though. Too compressed.

I heard the first 5 songs, and it felt like a single track broken up into parts. No dynamics, interesting riffs, OR ANYTHING of note. Also, feels like it's Drums: The Band. Was really surprised at the great reviews. :/

will get around to listening to this eventually but i really disliked the production on the single, so overly clean and sterile sounding
