Hey jorsh

Post by Ninny »

Alex Garland has done some great things for cinema and I wonder how you would rank his movies.

In these he was either director, writer or both:
28 Days Later
Sunshine
28 Weeks Later
Never Let Me Go
Dredd
Ex Machina
Annihilation
Men
Civil War
Warfare

A fine list by any standard  The Beach could be in there too i guess  I might be more impressed with all this because he makes the things that I want. I haven’t seen Warfare yet but it might already be playing in your lands.

I was at Ex Machina yesterday :xx: A nice warmup for 2025 with Warfare and 28 Years Later to follow

Only seen sunshine and the zombie stuff.

Didn't care for 28 anything. Sunshine was a great movie though.

Cemetery Man is great. Thanks for the heads up!

As for Alex Garland’s Filmography, the ones I’ve seen ranked:

28 Days Later
Sunshine
Dredd
Annihilation
Ex Machina
28 Weeks Later
Men

I’ve seen the beach but it needs a rewatch as it’s been like 20+ years.
