i guess what i would like to ask is have you really examined why you don't consume pork. i don't know if you're religious or not but it may just be a cultural upbringing. i don't see how pork is any different from beef is any different from chicken. the lives and behaviors of the animals don't really seem to matter in the slaughter house. the animals are all processed the same.

the cultural/religious restrictions of certain foods seem incredibly arbitrary and pointless to me but also i am a nihilist. for example, the use of any pharmaceutical seems like a far more offensive thing to ingest on a chemical level than something like pork.

that's an interesting question. i probably wouldn't but also i have extremely weird issues with food such as color and texture, for example i don't eat beef mostly because the color/texture is really off putting to me. eating dogs seems weird because they are commonly pets and helpers. i guess that's another black hole discussion of eating animals with higher intelligence.

i don't think the issue with eating pigs has anything to do with their intelligence, i know it's an old issue. i also sard doing any research

I am an atheist, yes my not eating pork is purely cultural, yes it is arbitrary, and no I will not reconsider.
