nah he was never into styx, just a lot of other hot garbage. i've forgotten what most of the worst offenders are at this point, though late in his life he got REALLY big into the black album. the main problem is he had a musical monomaniacal tendency which i also share, but without any accompanying good taste. so he'd latch on to some awful shit and blare it on repeat for excruciating stretches

Oh. It might have been yes. I just remember you absolutely losing your shit over the course of a few weeks about him playing a song on repeat.

unfortunately yes was definitely not a part of his repertoire, which would've been a massive improvement :redneck:

the proggiest thing he was ever into was the moody blues but that was mostly when i was young, i don't think he listened to them much past like the early/mid gloryhole era

It's kind of bugging me that I can't remember what the hell it was. It was one of those stormy is all wound up, and the thread is 8 pages long now situations. It was mostly you detailing your saga of musical rage at that song in particular.

Dude it was one album that was driving you wild. This was well before your south carolina days too. I know it was something in the genre those 2 bands live in if it wasn't one of them.

my main issue is that he had shit taste and was very enthusiastic about it

i think it wasn't bruce springsteen in that specific instance, although i still have a lot of residual enmity for the boss on account of similar incidents

Motherfuck springsteen. If it meant never hearing him grunt his way through a song, I would happily fill my ears with actual dog shit and listen to the flys buzz around for the rest of my life.

Son of a bitch ruins my birthday every year too. 364 other days the world could fellate him over being born but he chose mine :fuckoff:
