Outdoor grilling and barbecue

Post by Grudge »

Do you do this a lot? What's your set up? What kind of grill do you use, how's your patio, and what stuff do you barbecue?

I have a Weber Master Touch. I think for 8 years now and still great. Use it quite a lot, not just in summer.

I have one of those barrel shaped grills (Char-griller) with a smoke stack on one side and cast iron grates. Done plenty of grilling on it and I’ve used it as a smoker a few times as well. While typically I grill the classic hot dogs / bratwurst / hamburgers, etc I’ve also done Halloumi and Brun-uusto cheese, pineapple, tomatoes (surprisingly good!), various vegetables, And an entire turkey a couple of times (which was more smoked than grilled as it was done with indirect heat). On the patio I just have a high top table and some chairs that I got from Ikea and a canopy that I bought this summer because it was so damn hot that I couldn’t stand to be out there (unfortunately not much shade out back).
