Careful man. That there is a newer band. A few guys here might not take so kindly to that video. Every non poser knows real death metal died after 94.

I've enjoyed a handful of these newer death metal bands but gatecreeper just don't do shit for me

Cinematic and psychedelic as fuck doom with death metal trappings. 20 minutes of sheer madness and a fantastic guitar solo at 4:55. Youtube compression fucking sucks though.

They've sort of been mislabeled as funeral doom for ages. There was no such thing as that when they started. The vocalist has said they play dark, psychotic metal which is, more or less, their own take on the psychdelia-infused prog rock of the 60s, with some death metal in there as well.
