What are some bands that have been inactive, but made no official announcements, and have you wondering "what the hell is going on with this band???"

Vision of disorder. Although they didn't tour very much during their reunion years they were still on a roll, put out two great albums, and played sporadic shows here and there, then just stopped, and it's been like that for atleast 6 or 7 years

I recall Tim Williams saying he wanted to Persue his new "rock" band, but only a few songs have been released, and they were underwhelming and forgettable for the most part

the new mirrorthrone was mostly finished as of 2015 and then he just kinda fell off the face of the earth in terms of any output or info/interviews on his projects. seems to just run his studio now

Turisas - exploded onto the scene in the early 2000’s with Battle Metal and a few other hits, gained a following with their energetic live shows and then promptly fucked off about a decade later. Last release was 2013.
