No, but in writing mode, then I bet the studio at the beggning of the year, after the mixing, mastering, and artwork the promoting starts that should be around mid/late summer

Edit- more realistically maybe October 2023 for release would be a better guess

It's pretty crazy how long some bands take between the commencement of recording to actually releasing the material.

Anyway, I'm sure his return will make a lot of fans happy - which is cool - but The Red in the Sky is Ours is the only album of there's that ever did much for me, probably because of Alf's writing style *dodges tomatoes*

At The Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg revealed he was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma – a type of oral cancer – in 2023, and has been battling it ever since. He underwent major surgery to remove a significant portion of the roof of his mouth, followed by two months of radiation therapy.

God. Damn. Hope he pulls through.

Vocals for the new album were recorded the day before his surgery too.
