I've admitted to not being 100% up on this but I do have a general understanding on it, I think. You just like to write people off who see things different then you because apparently it's only fact if it fits your view. This is why I have an issue with you when I have no issue with Lavabug or Tegnub or other members who I 100% disagree with quite often. You don't get the difference in your assumptions and well anything.
In short:
Most arguments made on this board are opinion and guess work based, that's the point I was trying to make.
I brought my major and my interests up because there's no fucking way you can know anything about any of those topics without read more than just summaries and dictionary definitions.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad statements on Israel and the 12 Imam:
http://deathby1000papercuts.com/2008/02 ... pocalypse/
Not sure how reliable that site is but it does have a list of his quotes all said within the last 2 years. I don’t think we should take a chance and allow him to arm himself if he truly believes wiping out another country is the way to go.
He went on the Today Show and while itnerviewd by Ann Curry said the following proving he really wants to wipe out Israel:
Obviously it's an interview he won't be admitting to everything but still:

Re: Iran Has No Right to Nuclear Technology
that's because America is behind other countries now with nuclear storage and technology in general. This is why for our country I think we need to look into geothermal and tidal (for the east coast where geothermal wouldn't be a smart idea).
I agree with this.
Most people I know only have partial solar on their homes, I'm not sure if the people you know have the same or not. If things have changed recently I'll read up on it again but I seriously doubt it.
Some are part-solar, part-wind; some are full solar; some are full wind. I'm only thinking of the ones who feed energy back into the grid rather than simply lessen their grid-based use.
I think that, overall, there is no one single miracle energy source. I think we should be incorporating all of the effective means of generating energy, wherein the methods are locally feasible. Solar and wind should be a given nearly everywhere. Where possible, hydro, tidal and geothermal should also be used. I think anything that produces horrific waste, such as fossil fuels and nuclear, is horrible.
I agree with this.

Also, more efficient solar cells are being developed always, with a lower cost to consumer in mind.

No he wasn't. He was an Indian Parsi, born on the island of Zanzibar, grew up in India.
I'd think you'd know that, seeing as how he's your hero.
I think i know what an iranian is slightly better than you since im an iranian myself, freddies parents were persian=iranian and he looks 100% iranian, its genetics. Its like a japanease hard-on bearer being born in germany, is he a german? no he is still japanease. The reason freddie is iranian is because the people with similar genetics like him are gathered in a place called iran.
This is where Freddie would be if Queen toured Iran
Thats the best way to look at it, you can see in this thread 19 year old me was not wise enough to shut up and admit I don’t lnow a lot of things.

Nowadays though there is just so much bullshit I treat with contempt in the political sphere that it's impossible to muster up the energy to comment on it. I used to be very vocal 15 years ago and would speak up and start topics. Now I've just quietly become bitter.

Someone said something very comforting about the issue of being reminded of our past self cringing is good because it means you have grown as a human being so stop fearing it.

I have the worst habit of matching energies with people. It's only great when the person I'm arguing with is solid, so most of the time it devolves into a dumpster quickly. I'm working on that.jawn galliano wrote: ↑07 Oct 2024, 23:22i'd like to become quietly bitter and i've been better about not saying stuff but i also have poor self-control
