Had to euthanize one of my cats

Post by vO)))id »

Last Thursday. Bone cancer.
I'm absolutely gutted and so many emotions start to pour out now.

13 years old. His name was Zen.

I am so sorry it is without a doubt the hardest part if owning a pet.

Why on Earth would anyone make a cat thread without posting pics of said cat? RIP Zen.

sorry to hear it, bud. hope you're doing alright.

zen had a good life, though. it's devastating to have to let go, but someday soon you'll be able to look back fondly on the abundant good times.

Such a hard thing to do, but sometimes you can just tell it's time. In my case Rusty didn't want to get out from under the covers and basically stopped eating. Clearly he knew it was time too (he was 20) and had been looked at by an experienced veterinarian who indicated the same. But he was playful and loving right until the end, and I'm sure you also did everything you could to give yours a good life. I feel your pain.
