just found a dead mouse in my house

- down in the basement while I was doing laundry. not sure what it died from as my cats aren't allowed down there and as far as I know there aren't any traps. I guess I'll need to call a pest control place to see what can be done to prevent more.

In Florida I never had a mice issue - rats were more common but as long as you had some garter snakes in the area they wouldn't ever get in your home.

You have cats. You have pest control unless you have lazy ass cats.

one of them is super lazy and old. the other is old but still has that hunter instinct so I wouldn't put it past her.

Thankfully never seen any mice at any places ive lived, or many spiders, though ive seen a few :/

My 20 year old cat was still catching mice. I had to point out where it was though, it was sitting in her plate This mouse wasn't very sharp
