Sitting at home and sarding, wondering if I’ll even get trick or treaters (last few places I lived didn’t get any or very few). Bought some candy just in case. Tried to decorate the front steps up with some Pumpkins and grounds - but the damn squirrels have eaten most of them :hate:

I honestly hadn't heard much about it beforehand, but it was a solid creature flick. They do a good job of teasing the creature, and when the whole thing is revealed it doesn't disappoint. The little CGI it had was used very well and didn't detract from anything.
Nice. Pretty excited. :santa:

Antlers was alright. Expectations were lofty going in. Disappointed but it was still solid. They couldve taken the Wendigo storyline and really ran with it. Alas, it was non existent.

Drove outside of the city about 90 minutes and was able to see them. Reality vs expectations are very different compared to what you see in pictures. It was still very cool, can’t remember the last time I was able to see so many stars in the night sky. :xx:

As for tonight - bought 3 big bags of candy and was out before 6pm - sent the wife to the store and bought 9 more and was out by 8pm. We were only giving out 1 candy each too - it was fucking nuts.
:dizzy:

Now it’s time to watch some Halloween movies.

The opposite here, my kids were getting handfuls because hardly anyone was out.

That’s how it usually is for me - I would give out huge handfuls to the few the did come to the door.

Native Americans get touchy with wendigo being used in movies and TV I don’t blame them when we seem to shit on their legend with poor quality interpretations.
