Then why should mon profits be exempt? There is no difference in services provided in many cases.

I do understand he issue with churches i share many of them especially mega churches.

Many non profits are religious that is irrelevant. Taxes are based ob income via services and goods not beliefs.

We can all agree the church is rife woth issues as most organizations.

Churches should be taxed the same as non-profit charities and function as tax exempt if all qualifications are met (even non profits still file tax returns even if they are classified as tax exempt).

That said, any real estate holdings that aren’t used for charitable purposes (community centers, housing projects, etc), purchase of high end vehicles such as exotic cars and aircraft, and housing that is way out of proportion to the surrounding area should immediately warrant an investigation by authorities.

In conclusion, fuck the maga churches.

Yeah my parents have done accounting for churches and some piss me off to no end. Some need outside auditing asap.

Not to mention we had one ask us to leave service because my brother was flapping, not making noise, flapping his hands.

I doubt any church in 2021 would do that but the fact they are exempt from ada has always bothered me more than the tax exemption. Giving any “charity” the right to discriminate where other businesses and charities can’t is despicable.

The church we go to now, while i loathe their lgbt stande, is very welcoming to the disabled and accepts my service dog which is miles beyond where some are.

I like Insane Clown Posse. I have seen them live 8 times. I made thousands selling bootleg CDs/VHS tapes in the late gloryhole era /early 00s. I called this business venture Faygo Up Your Ass.

A lot of fish-based dishes of various cuisines around the world actually suck and are utterly overrated. Fish just doesn't marinate as well as pork, beef, chicken, etc. and would usually come out bland.

That said, sashimi/sushi and fish & chips are wonderful.

i am a big fish fan, sure it doesn't absorb flavour as well, but it has more delicate flavours and variety than heavier meats

I'm sure there are great fish dishes out there - grilled catfish is one of them.

I'm inclined to think that most folk that I know who indulge in fish do so for health reasons. If those people aren't concerned with heart disease, diabetes, and the like, I'd bet they'd drown themselves in steaks, burgers and whatnot and they'll forget fish altogether.

I genuinely like fish. I prefer it to chicken, won’t lie I like beef more but limit consumption for health and finances. Pretty soon chick n and pork prices will go up due to new laws so most califirnians will limit their meat consumption i suspect.

Cocktails/mixed drinks are all :oldryan: Even a simple jack+coke is repulsive enough for me. Drinking booze straight up as it is or on the rocks is the way to go.

I like a good crown + coke but if it's good liquor, yeah on the rocks is better. most mixed drinks are way too sweet.
