recently i've gotten hooked on bluegrass and banjo based music. just bought my first banjo: a used deering goodtime on ebay for about $300 with shipping.

you should do a death metal cover of dueling banjos
there should be an american folk metal band, just like folk metal but with banjos, fiddles and mandolins

I happen to live right in the bluegrass! I hear my share of bluegrass music often, we have public access channels of people playing all the time. I'm not a fan but it's amazing to watch it being performed.
