Torrent Programs

Post by zim »

So BitTorrent and uTorrent keep crashing on me while trying to download stuff. Have any of you had this problem? About to look for a new torrent program, any recommendations?

I use uTorrent a lot, it's always running in the background and I haven't known it to crash much.

I used to use Azureus (now called Vuze) and that wasn't bad.

I just got BitComet and it's doing fine. Bittorrent & uTorrent have always been weird for me. When they work it's great and easy, but they always crash, sometimes they will download whole torrents and sometimes they will crash after 4 seconds.

uTorrent has always worked exceptionally well for me on both my old old XP SP3 (32 bit) machine and my current Vista x64 machine (also when I tested Windows 7 x64). Before it, though, I used Azureus/Vuze and enjoyed that too.
