"Where the slime live... A song about the jews?"

Post by zim »

I found this topic on http://www.stormfront.org/forum/showthread.php?t=277792

Not sure how I came across this site but I thought this was an interesting conversation..

Where the slime live

(They are the lowest forms of life)

Where the slime breed

(They make a new one too corrupted)

When the wind blows

(The winds of truth are blowing now)

And the cradle falls....down

Their poison fingers that wrote the poison lines

Their poison lingers

What a tragedy when their fingers are removed

Where the slime live

Their burning dogma

Introducing to our mind - lies

They plot for the total control of the morals

And what a tragedy when the "god-heads" are removed.

They crawl, they breed, they hide but we see

They burn

I see the smoke of the funerals rising

God lives in thier heads now laid to rest

What a sight

As their kingdom comes tumbling down

We burn - the ones with contrite souls be gone!

Long gone are the filthy liars

Long gone are their filthy lies

I know they'll come again some day

Where the slime live and how the slime gets washed away

doesn't that sound like it's about jews?

just read this part:

Their burning dogma

Introducing to our mind - lies

They plot for the total control of the morals

And what a tragedy when the "god-heads" are removed.

Yeah, we know exactly where the slime live.

David Vincent used to have rightwing/NS ideas.

Don't know if he still has them today.

Lemmy (motorhead) once said in a interview that Vincent came up to

him with some WN propaganda and he kicked him out of the tourbus

for it. lemmy collects a lot of WW2 stuff, and David probably thought he

would be interested in some WN pamflets/writings.

But we all know that lemmy like to shag dark chicks and halfbreeds.

I also read in a older interview that David didn't want to get on a tourbus

once because the driver was black. Or that could've been the hard-on bearer from

Malevolent Creation. I'm not sure who.

In the Blessed Are The Sick thankslist Vincent wrote something like,"i want

to greet a certain great leader from the past but who's name i won't mention". That can only be one person

You are very much correct on his personal facts, there is other things to say about him, but I feel he has become a subhuman and or supporter of them now anyway, he has ''black'' hair now, but maybe he always did?! that stupid ''genetortures'' side project with his wife is embarassment enough to write him off for good!

Vincent really tried to become Necrovore back in the day, that was his deal I think! maybe he was not as original as we think?? I do like his thanks list in Blessed though, very much like my self!

I remember reading about that in Metal Hammer 1993-4, apparently David tried to give him a copy of Mein Kampf.

David also gave an interview for Kerrang! around the time Covenant came out in which he talked about White pride and so forth. Needless to say, Kerrang! rated Covenant 1/5 LOL

This has always been my interpretation, and you have to look all elements:

"Where the slime live" = song about self rightous religious people who attribute everything "good" to their god and everything evil to "human". The ones who ascribe morals by listening to folklore rather than creating true morals that are humanistic.

"I want to greet a certain great leader from the past but who's name i won't mention". = CEASAR

The sound byte under neath the intro on Blessed, there's a baby crying but also a gathering like podium from the roman days. You can hear latin being spoken by a leader. (Or it's the leader Nero at the Lion's Den, which we all know is a supported story and written song on Covenant)

Vincent was[is] about self empowerment, strong will, intelligence. When he spoke of "race", that's what he was alluding too. An "evil"race. I.e those who think for themselves, empower themselves, strive to create, etc.

Sworn to the black = "At war, war with this race" = This "HUMAN" race. Meaning = "ALL TOO HUMAN" race. Nietzsche was a big influence on the philosphical mind of Vincent. He even thanks him in his credits. Nieztche despised anti-semites.

Vincent's concepts never truly alluded to a biological race but a race of like minds, like thinking, and like strength. I mean one would have to ask do you think he'd ever be in a band with a drummer from central america if what conventional thought made him out to be?

yah i think so. based on the general idea i have of the hard-on bearer, he doesn't seem like a racist. if he is, then i hope he thinks it's stupid by now because it clearly is.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
No point in speculating what is true and what not: only way is to ask David Vincent himself about what he meant.

about the "certain great leader from the past "-thing. It could be Hitler as much as it could be Ceaser, but it doesn't really matter. David Vincent did never mention anything about a certain "meaning" when it comes to the lyrics. He didn't even want to talk about it. Morbid Angel / David always wanted the fans to think for themselves, and get their own idea. The lyrics ARE what you WANT them to be. It's meaningless to try to find out what this lyrics means to David himself. I can't understand how you folks have the energy to try find out stuff like this. Just put on a record, read the lyrics and GET LOST IN YOUR OWN IMAGINATION. There is no limitations when it comes to MA.

Of course the sentiment of thinking for oneself is absolutely an important themse with Morbid Angel. I don't think however that it means that Vincent specifically was not always trying to drive a point home with the listener. Actually, and going on the frustrations in certain interviews, it seems that if anything he wanted focus off of him as far making assumptions go. For it seems that a popular consensus was pegging him as something he perhaps wasn't. I mean he said himself he was tired of talking about his views because they were misunderstood. At any rate though, the point of the thread was to downplay any thoughtless suggestions made by conventional thought. You know, superficial conclusions based on the immediate. Incidentally, one can sit and make meaning for oneself all day but of course ultimately, things that we do are connected in their overall meaning. Same goes for Vincent. If from day one he's been driving a point through lyrics, themes, and music all it takes is a discerning eye to connect it all together and you know what, it does eventually spell something out. In that case, I don't think it can necessarily be just any leader, I think all signs point to the mouthpieces Vincent has been using all along, which show up in variations through different albums. What did he say in that interview during recording of Covenant: "I haven't changed, I'm just further on down the pollution stage" But again, so long as there are people out there who rather than think for themselves are merely making assumptions for themselves based on personal biases, prejudices, and preferences then these threads just chop them down, which I don't see as bad at all. Not to mention the small hidden things that one can unravel is quite fun!

I absolutely don't give a fuck about David's philosphical or politcs point of view. The only thing I'm sure about is that he's an amazing frontman and when I met him in 2008 he was a really really handsome person.

Well... The evidence "seems" somewhat convincing. Frankly if Vincent is a Nazi sympathizer.... so what?!?

I mean really... How many death metal bands are anti-Christian and nobody here would get up in arms, so if there happens to be anything anti-Semitic, again, so what!?!

Nobody here will ever know for sure about David's personal feelings on this, and I agree that the evidence seems convincing, but I really could care less either way on it...

MA is a great band, and Vincent a great front-man... If he has neo-nazi leanings, more power to him. It's never permeated into their music, and frankly, that's the only aspect of this that matters to me.

Speaking of which though... Am I the only one that finds it odd that if a death metal band didn't do the extremely played-out, and cliche anti-Christian theme for their music and chose to be all anti-Jewish, that they'd be considered too out there???

Well, I think that there is a distinction between biological prejudice and religious prejudice. It seems the two are being mixed here; the lines are being blurred. Im pretty sure this thread was about the biological aspect, even though the the term jewish refers to a religion. But obviously, any individual of any race can be any one of the religions.

Thats a very good point. Jews are regarded as a race.. But it is a religion. there are Afro-Amerikan jews, Slavic jews etc. etc. Which makes the Jewish race term kinda weird.

On the subject of David... Although i concur with TM's explanation, his involvement/friendship with some bands and/or people who are also under fire from the media on suspicion of Nazi ideas doesn't help him. Blood Axis for instance. He is thanked in the booklet along with Johnny Hetlund and Peter Steele... This band is also inspired by Nietsche. But also attacts a lot of NeoNazi's. And him walking around in a Black uniform dindn't make him mister populair either...

I do think he is speaking about a superior spiritual race. Theosophopy (Blavadsky) spoke of that also, and were a inspiration for some of the people who created the foundations of the Third reich. In my opinion the 3th reich mixed up the true meaning of her writings.

I really would like somebody to do a deep interview with him on the matter. Because the subject is very interesting. But with all the crap he got out of the media i think that will never happen. When you are a singer for a known band people are likely to misinterped or twist your words around.

I have that interview from Kerrang somewhere and although he says some things which sound a little harsh i would not judge him a Nazi because of it.

And what of Treys fascination of the Cabahlah.. That's about as jewish as you can get. (But some might say that was one of the reasons they parted ways in 96...)

Thanks for your input uni, nice post... I must absolutely agree, obviously, that it's all about a superior "spiritual" race; a way of thought; an understanding of reality. Blavatsky, just as Nietszche were both used in a degfragmented way. Rather than understand them, the words they used on the surface were used to fit the mold of what was already being thought as "truth". Just an example, when Nieztsche used the term "blonde beast", it had nothing to do with a german. He was referring to a lion. Any true reader of his work, in its entirety, would have known that.

As far as the outside perception goes, which incidentally is the same perception that does not grasp the true meaning of any disparate thinker, you are right. It's guilty by association kind of thing. But again, this "assignment" of guilt is by ignorance; small-mindedness. If one thinks all squares are red, showing them a blue square would still render it red because that's what is true to them: un-reality.

Right. The talk about root races, aryans etc. was explained in such a way it has nothing to do with the source it all came from. Which is a damn shame. As i was(am) doing a lot of reading/self study on the subject i saw a lot of parallels with those things in the concept of MA. Which only deepened my interest.

It is a deep philosophcal means to Spiritual self improvement and growth. :god:

A lot of times the "Do what thou wilt" is explained as being egoistic or egocentric. But it can mean doing something for the right reasons which are gonna cost you a lot of effort or suffering and self sacrifice. With no material gain in the end. But reaching a new step on the ladder....

It is hard to live by that, and is often followed by periods of epic fail. But the outlines of the direction i am working on are getting clearer to me. It can be very depressing some times though...

*edit* Normally i choose not to talk about this stuff too much as i find it hard enough to talk about this in Dutch. So i hope i am clear. :redneck:

Oh, seems to me that every now and again you keep crying how it's hard for you to write in English, how you are afraid because of possible mistakes... Don't worry man, it's just a means of communication here. If I can understand what you are saying, it's good enough. Hell, if we could put up with aod's initial (mis)understanding of English, and still get what he's saying...And fwiw your command of language is not bad at all. Threads like this one are what make this forum worthwhile imo, not some shitty talk about the global warming, or "what did you do today?" etc.

Btw, go and see if some of all these board posters which native language is English, do they speak Dutch? They speak my ass. So my point is don't be uncomfortable using it, just write what you have to say the best way you can, and don't worry.

Just keep it interesting.
can someone explain to me why its perfectly ok to slam christianity, but "bigoted" "ignorant" and "racist" to slam judaism and islam?

seems like a double standard; something that jew-controlled morals is all about. david vincent was right.

yes, world of shit and where the slime live are about jews. the lyrics are great.
Only it's none of those things to insult Judaism and Islam. All religions are equally wrong and very nearly equally contemptible.

World of shit does have a word untermensch (subhuman), which is audible but cannot be found in the album booklet (there is "waste" instead), but I dunno if it's a song about the Jews.

it's perfectly ok to slam any religion. amazingly enough, there can be bigotry and ignorance involved in criticism of any of the groups you mentioned, christianity included. this is less ok, because it is dumb and unproductive. it also happens that most popular criticisms you see of any of these groups are pretty simplistic, ignorant, based on misconceptions, faulty characterizations, fail to account for context, and so forth. they serve little purpose outside of being a really long and drawn out way to say 'i hate this group, because they're bad!'.

are you that hard-on bearer that got banned from the last board for repeating stormfront-style rhetoric ad nauseam, after you were explicitly warned that doing so would result in your banning? edit- no, i guess not, if you're actually from indiana. that hard-on bearer was australian or something

It was accused of being as such because untermensch was a word the Germans used to describe Jews, but its literal translation is more likely what he meant.

i wouldn't bother arguing with him. white nationalists are all of the notion that they've uncovered some secret ultimate truth that we're all too dumb/blind/brainwashed/jewish/secretary of state to understand, if we don't agree with them 100%. they also seem to have this really pervasive habit of projecting their worldview onto absolutely everything, relevance be damned. those fuckers could spell out a global conspiracy tucked away in the goddamn birthday song if someone told them it was sung within a ten-mile radius of a lone jew, all with a completely straight face.
you know what, im totally wrong. "world of shit" is about sex, and "where the slime live" is about smoking weed.

mortimer, have you ever wondered how much of your own thought process, your moral compass, is formed by the american mass media and hollywood? of course you havent.
you've caught me red-handed. somehow, in the last few years, despite being seriously introverted and also studying psychology, these topics have managed to elude me all along.

have you ever wondered how much of your own thought process, your moral compass, is formed by paranoid lunatics, and people who are so simple-minded that they genuinely believe you can reduce all of society's ills to 'the jews did it'? of course you haven't. you came up with that all on your own, you freethinking little snowflake, you!

I figured this discussion eventually would happen....

I have a problem with any kind of organised religion. Be it Christian, Islamic, Catholic or Jewish.

Untermensch = Subhuman... and those individuals live in all classes of society.

As David has repeatedly said in many interviews: it is up to the listener as how to interped the lyrics.

The world does need a cleansing IMO. It would be better off without humanity. Slipknot is right with one thing...
