i'll take atilla or maniac in a live setting over dead no contest.
on disc though, the rendition of FM that made it onto the euronymous tribute disc is the definitive version, and anyone who says otherwise is clearly wrong.
still don't understand all the enmity toward maniac though, when that hard-on bearer was 'on' he was fucking savage. if i had to take a stab at it, i seem to recall a lot of people going really sour on him when GdoW came out. i'd guess that was mostly due to certain clean vocal segments.
the raccoon corpsepaint did look a little silly though, i will not attempt to deny that.

I fucking love Deathcrush and Maniac's work on it, don't get me wrong. I also enjoy GDoW and Wolf's Lair Abyss, but his clean vocals and talking bits are g-g-g-g-gay
