Jesus, that was the most impressed I've been in a long time.

Need a new signature? Why not Zoidberg? (V) (;,,;) (V)

I prefer Jimi's original version, but this has its moments.
I am the Dragon. And you call me insane. You are privy to a great becoming, but you recognize nothing. To me, you are a slug in the sun. You are an ant in the afterbirth. It is your nature to do one thing correctly: Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe.

UV: At the beginning of 'Tender Surrender' [from 'Alien Love Secrets'] you play an octave melody that's reminiscent of...
SV: Wes Montgomery?
UV: Yeah, or I was thinking of the instrumental Jimi played at the end his Woodstock performance, 'Villanova Junction Blues'.
SV: Right, right. It's very reminiscent of that!
UV: That wasn't intentional then, no?
SV: Well, it probably crept up form my subconscious somewhere. 'Tender Surrender' sounds like a cross between Jimi's song, Santana's 'Europa' and 'Call It Sleep' [from Vai's album 'Flex-Able' (1984)]. I don't claim to be original, by the way![/quote]
