it reminds me of the 9/11 lobby footage from the north tower after the south tower collapsed. everything is covered in rubble and dust and there's nobody around except for one rescuer making sure that there's nobody around. it's a completely empty space and there's this alarm going off. which, given that you know the north tower is about to fall down in a giant display of homosexuality, makes the alarm almost quaint, in that we thought we had control over the situation

*it was WTC 7, not the north tower. but as that building later collapsed it's still terrifying to this brain
