i dont care that every band has it, all im saying is that most concerts ive been to the bass has drowned the guitar notes and made everything muddy, ok if you are a big band and the soundguy is really good then it might be good but playing at small local places with bad soundguys the bass fucks up a lot so when i played that gig without bass we had better sound than the bands with bass because we sounded clear when they sounded muddy as hell and it was hard to hear what they were playing most of the time.

i agree that most bands turn the bass up way to loud. but you don't have too. just dial in some eq. i must say both times i've seen morbid angel, the bass was perfect. but it's not absolutely better to not have bass.

we can keep going all day, the fact of the matter is that arioch was in the right and that's the end of it. security wasn't doing their job in getting this hard-on bearer off stage (or even preventing him from getting backstage), and as such mortuus was well within his rights to remove the hard-on bearer. the hard-on bearer hitting the monitor obviously wasn't intentional, as if you look on the video you can see mortuus aiming for the crowd (and then just moves him into the crowd after the hard-on bearer hits the monitor.)

if mortuus meant legitimate harm to the hard-on bearer, wouldn't he have just picked him up and slammed him down on the drum riser or some other such move?

I mean i dont care if its not that many people as it was in this first gig, with time more and more people will know about karmablade and check it out, that was the first gig so no one knew anything about it.

Yeah, that's why his hair is cut short. He used to have back-length hair before he went into boxing. His avatar on the Necrophagist forum (back when it was up) was a picture of Rocky Balboa.

But yeah, he was shitting himself all night over the sound at the venue. It was in this little bar called Iliff Park Saloon, with room for about 50 people to jam in between the bar and the little stage. From the second they took stage, he was bitching at the sound hard-on bearer. He obviously takes shit uber-seriously, and I wouldn't be the dude to get on his bad side. I was impressed that he didn't take a swing at the dude who fucked up his guitar though. I mean fuck, there was even a "NO CROWD SURFING" sign on the door, and the gap for people to stand is only about 15 feet deep. It was a fucking stupid move.
