This is Mohamed Bouazizi protesting corruption and starting the Arab Spring.

Tunesia was in the news, a group of politicians won the Nobel peace prize. I thought these self-immolation guys deserve some respect. No bigger honour than a MABB thread.

I would imagine the fact of bringing a match close to oneself doused in gasoline isn't as immediately intimidating as jumping off of a height or pulling a trigger. I bet the first 2 seconds when the "oh shit I'm on fire" kicks in must be the worst.
