leaves is one of my most favorite albums and it's neat to see it getting such a deluxe treatment, and a 4xLP release plus extras at $45 is a steal compared to most other labels' contemporary vinyl issues.

I ordered lost soul's chaostream and carcass' swansong pathologist's report edition too because I caved into the black friday sale

That's $82 on CD's/merch in a single day I've spent, should be enough for the rest of the year.

You can't go wrong with Carcass. Even if Swansong happened to be their weakest record. Still some good track on it. It's just hard to follow up an album like Heartwork.

I'm basically buying all the digi reissues individually over time so that I can have this staring at me from my cd shelf, so far I have V and surgical, which doesn't match

I used to think swansong was a sell out album until I gave it a genuine listen and ignored what the internet had to say about it. It is great from start to finish and the thought of it being mainstream now seems laughable.

Maiden did this smilar thing at the turn of the century with all their albums leading up to when Bruce went solo. If the consumer stacked them like the picture you posted with the Carcass reissues it made the cover art for the initial full length debut. It was neat to have.
