Electronically Modified Didgeridoo
Kyle Evans is a musician and DIY electronic tinkerer. He’s come up with a fantastic instrument/controller called the “Electronically Modified Didgeridoo”. It’s a regular digeridoo with pickups inside and all sorts of Battlestar Galactica-type controls all over.
The audio is sent wirelessly to a computer, and the controls modify effects and other parameters in real time via his custom software. When Kyle plays the instrument, he’s got access to all sorts of textures and sounds that give so much more dimension and depth to an already-trippy instrument.
Kyle says:
I created this instrument to experiment in the combination of the organic sound qualities of a didgeridoo with the advanced signal processing capabilities of modern computer programming and sound synthesis.
This custom built didgeridoo features externally mounted modules that allow the performer to process and manipulate the sound of the instrument in real time. All control data is transmitted wirelessly via blue tooth and is controlling several audio processes created in a custom-built software environment.

It would be cool if he did a collaboration with John Carpenter for some movie.
