Not that this question matters too much but did you get this LP colored, splattered or traditional 180 gram black?
none of the above! it's an original from 1985, it's plain black, probably 140g. 180 and up is heavyweight, usually only found on newer re-releases and special editions and such.
and in my experience it can be pretty important in terms of sound quality, more often than not fancy color editions (and especially picturediscs) sound bad. out of my collection, the transparent blue reissue of altars of madness is especially bad (which i didn't discover until ten years after buying it when i finally had a chance to gave it a spin), to the point that i emailed the earache asks blog complaining about it and asking what happened
the only colored vinyl i've got that i was very happy with the sound quality on is the neurosis 180g reissue of souls at zero. i generally avoid purchasing them now if i can, and always opt for black if given a choice.
You did very well on those hauls.
As far as the coloured vinyls go. It's been hit or miss with me. I have the yellow/gold Pallbearer record and it plays just fine. My Windhand Soma on purple/white splatter does not. I have also bought some black vinyls as well. The most atrocious sounding one is the Antediluvian on standard black that skips more than a giddy schoolgirl.
I did do some research on the subject and found out that it's a repressing issue on that particular item. With that said. Don't buy from anyone supporting the manufacturer called Pirate Press. Imo they have done me kinda shadily. Now I try to get first pressings only and that has worked very well for me.

I say yes. It supports the band in some shape or form. Judges?

That shirt is great. However, if we allow band shirts in this thread, it will become smelly masturbating over slam shirts.

Seems fair that way. I get most patches and stickers free with my hauls anyway. \::/

The Blatz / Filth split lp came today.
A bit irritated that In The Nightside Eclipse hasn't arrived yet. I was hoping to have it by the 20th anniversary

Re: Music Haul
i could have gotten twice as many cds as i did last month if i had bought through amazon and even more if i'd bought used on amazon. but i would rather spend more money and support bands and small interesting labels than less money and have most of it go to a corporation that doesn't care about the labels or the bands in the first place

Ordered this the other day, via Merkaba's Band Camp page. The $16.00 price tag also included the digital version of this album to download.
