I haven't listened to this song in about 5 years.

i love this song. it was a big part of my alternative rock radio days while growing up, along with alanis morisette, u2, marilyn manson, foo fighters, bush, no doubt, etc... also, i've heard that burton c. bell from fear factory is in this video.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
I think his name was Tony.

Does the DVD have that timer shit on the bottom or is that just the youtube crap? I have the full set with that timer, but I'd dig replacing it with a high quality version. That Reading Festival show was one of their best. (I used to collect live Nirvana bootlegs)

I was really into Nirvana when I was a little bit younger but I was really seeking something angrier, a la incredibly angry death metal

i like me some Nirvana & grunge.

Kurt was quite the musical man - great melodies & harmonic ideas over noisy guitars n shit.

When they & grunge popped up when I was a teen (14) - I kinda dug it, but was mainly a death metal only dude so I kinda ignored it (also due to a bunch of lamers going on about them).

When I matured musically (17-18) I found a new love & appreciation for their melodic noise

the doco on "Nevermind" is great too.

What do you think about Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Hoote & The Blowfish and the other "Rrrrggghhh" bands at that time?

I don't put Hootie in the same category as STP and Pearl Jam. STP and Pearl Jam were excellent; Hootie and the Blowfish are gay.

I also don't include other rrrrr heeeyy eyyyy rrrrr bands like Creed in there. Fuck them.
