Actually, that's a brilliant argument. To get even a shred of context for climate change, one needs to look, at the very least, at data from the last large ice age to the present.

Logical thinking says you clearly believe in the myth of a hyper-competent government. In reality, where most of us life, the government is a body made of a mixed assortment of people. Some are good people, some are evil, some are corrupt, some have principles. The problem with your theory is that the government is made of two strongly opposed political parties, which historically sell each other out at a moment's notice if it will profit themselves.

What this means is that the government was responsible in any way for 9/11, we would have heard conclusive testimony from one side or the other. Someone would've brought the proof. Maybe you're not familiar with the American political system to know that, but it's a fact.

Even if both parties worked together, which never happens, like I said, the government isn't competent enough to pull it off. There's too many factors to consider, too many mouths to keep shut about it, etc.
