In film studies, Solipsism also refers to the process of creating an image in a viewers mind without actually showing it.
For example, people are shown standing at a train station. Then a whistle sound is played and the viewer automatically assumes that a train is pulling in.
my argument against this would be the unknown does exist is our mind.
