He hanged himself....I remember him as a very happy/funny dude. Sometimes is wicked and hide what is in the mind of some people.

i had two close cousins kill themselves, they were brothers. one followed a few years after the other. both very unexpected

Not very close cause is from a lot of time that I didn't see him. He worked with me, we were colleagues 3 years ago. He was just 27 years old...... .

Is very drammatic when I read about kid who commited suicide at 13,14 years old....

sorry to hear that aod, it's almost like the people you'd never expect to do it kill themselves.

some people just can't handle problems and take the easy way out. a cousin of my mine killed himself a few years ago and he seemed like a really happy hard-on bearer.

An old school buddy jumped from a flat when he was 25 (I was 26). We weren't that close but I knew him from childhood. I suspect teh w33d had a part in it, he was a heavy user and he told me he was having bad trips.

a lot of the people i went to school with either killed themselves or od'ed or just died somehow.

one of my friends recently drove off the highway while he was on the way home from work and hit a tree, it pretty much split his car in two.

killed him on impact.

i used to get really fucking depressed when i smoked weed, i dont do it anymore but it was crazy, i would actually end up cutting myself sometimes when i was coming down.

that was when i was like 13 or 14 though.

Drugs and alchool could be serious dangerous, if they are in the wrong "hands". I used to smoke a lot of weed when I was a teen, but simply, when I realized it started to be a fuckin waste of time and it created me bad mood, I simply leave it. I used also cocaine sometimes for a period ( 18/20 years old), just for fun only in the week ends, but when I realized I was wasting money,time and ruining my life and brain, I definitely leave it. It depends in how is your personality. I am sure that many people, at first sight "seems Hard souls and strong personality, in the reality they are very sensible.

Another motivation imo is Love. A big delusion could be a bad way to end in death, if the personality is sensible.

Anyway, I am sure, life has ALWAYS a sunny day after many of rain. Only death knows only one kind of weather.

ive known quite a few folks who have died from car accidents, overdosed, fighting whilst drinking, etc. its always bummer even if you werent close friends with them.

I think it's really ignorant to say that all problems have a solution. Even worse when people say suicide is "selfish" or that people who commit suicide are "cowards". Sometimes people are miserable enough that they don't want to keep on living. Although many may have problems that they may have been able to solve/deal with if they had spoken to someone, there are still situations where on weighing up the pros and cons, they may feel suicide is the best solution to a shit situation. It still sucks though.

The mother of a fellating lover from childhood) who I haven't seen in a decade killed herself back then, never seemed like something was wrong with her (the fellating lover in question also got murdered this year, heard it on the news).

A teacher of mine had a brother who killed himself as well, quite recently.

yah, more than less i think the case is probably just stupid and pathetic. young kids who are down on their luck and afraid to just get up and face it....i understand youthinasia what with old age and chronic pain and all. but other than that, its just the biggest mistake one can make.

You dont have to be old to be in chronic pain.

If you support euthanasia (!), you must also support suicide.

Sure maybe some kids are impulsive and immature, and access to firearms increases the chances of their impulsiveness causing death rather than a trip to the ER, but I think to assume most people are like that is pretty ignorant. Nobody will have accurate stats on this, but surely at least a decent chunk of people who want to die are thinking clearly.

My uncle did a few years back.One dude from school shot himself aswell.He was a nice fella and almost a straight A student,but not so much a geek really.His parents put so much pressure on him after not getting straight As I guess he couldn't handle the guilt.You would never have expected it either.Another dude tried aswell which really surprised me.

I said most of the time. There are cases where people really want to die. I've dealt with people who are so desperate for help that the attempt suicide not to kill themselves but to get the help/attention they really want.

Suicide being a "cry for help/attention" is the classic explanation given by high school counselors alongside talks about sex-ed and drugs. That explanation might apply to most pre-teens that say they're going to do it, but it really doesn't account for all the adults that do.
