well yeah but they havent even made a metal album in 20 years so it doesnt really matter. I have short hair myself but i agree its more metal with long hair but in the end the music is whats most important.

I agree that a lot of new stuff, especially in the metal genre, is inspirationless and boring, and all have the same production and sound.

You just have to know where and what to look for, there's still plenty of new music coming out that's brilliant, even in the metal genre and all it's subgenres.
