That sucks when the parental advisory label fucks up an otherwise great album cover
Also nice snag with Birds of Fire, Stormy
I thought about visiting a metal store called Into the Void for RSD but it's in St. Paul where parking is a baffling ordeal. Plus I don't currently have anything to play CDs/vinyl on

i'm really pleased with it, spun that one a couple of times this evening. it's in basically mint condition too, which is amazing considering the disc itself is just about 40 years old
sounds much better than the CD version i bought like eight or nine years ago :pretentiousvinylsnob::::::
if i'm not mistaken, i originally got into mahavishnu on recommendation from ninny

I picked up Misfits - Earth AD/Wolfsblood (not an RSD release but still
) and the hard-on bearer's last RSD release left, the Bob Dylan Wigwam/Thirsty Boots 7"
Then, on my way out, this absolutely stunning woman walked in, smiled at me, and I tripped. I didn't fall, but it was obvious that I tripped and why
She smiled again and I left embarrassed as fuck. That hasn't happened in forever.

That would be an interesting one to hear on vinyl. I've never been wild about McLaughlin's wobbly, oftentimes razor thin guitar sound. I always suspected vinyl would even that out, but wondered how it would treat the details of Cobham's parts.
Reign in Blood is another release I'd like to hear on vinyl out of curiosity.

Re: Music Haul
some songs like dmslt and day of the storm dont do much for me. Cold Dark Mourning as a closer was a big disappoint for me compared to die alone. boring and lame the lyrics in the chorus. So basically the last 3 tracks

I like the album more than i did when it leaked now that I read the lyrics and own the actual album. Title track is the best song.

ask him if his ears are painted on
I enjoy either superjoint album more than this.
there are similarities but one can definitely tell the difference after 5 or so listens.

Amoeba has these little short son YouTube called What's In Your Bag where famous people show off what they're buying. I found it accidentally while looking at Henry Rollins videos.
