I remember doing a project on WWII in school.

The Romans were the highlight of history class I must say.

I find WWII interesting because some of the main players were weird as fuck, plus I feel it has a ton of relevance to today. I'd like to know more about Russian/Soviet history (and European history too), I find the Vikings to be interesting, and I also like American history (in particular the Civil War).

The ancient Romans were awesome. :xx: I did a project on their architecture for Italian.

Vikings never wore those horned helmets (at least in battle, maybe for religious purposes). The horns were added by monks and other christians in an attempt to demonize the Norse invaders.

Yeah, definitely going to be a history major. I'm not sure I'll take the historian route. I might end up as a high school teacher or a professor.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but what would be the difference between being a professor of history, and being a historian?

Ram's horn (or steer horn or whatever) has got some weight to it. Too cumbersome for a helmet.

Perfect for drinking though.

Historians tend to write books. I'm sure professors do but I don't think it's a requirement. Historians don't have to teach classes either.

@ Lerzeig Redek:

Yeah, plus if you wear a horned helmet, it would be pretty easy to catch a weapon on it, thus taking it off and turning your head into mush.

Some Pathologist after whom a disease was named. Apparently he was a Nazi.

I think there are a few such diseases named after Nazis.

Not surprising really. After the war ended the Allies rushed in and took a bunch of Nazi scientists. Look up Wernher von Braun.
