out here there are two i can think of.

one is called Excel Erections. slogan: "Our erections are hard to beat!"

this was a real business, i shit you not.

Over here, we work for a property consultant/investor type client that calls itself, "Lucre Property".

LUCRE. How can you name yourself that and get away with it? They don't get much business, so I guess they don't get away with it.

There used to be a diner also called The 419 Eatery. They had the "Got a minute" joke for their tagline. I think that once the novelty wore off they went out of business.

it's a strange place for sure. very conservative but there are leftist hippie enclaves everywhere.

the organic thing and co-ops seem to be popular up there for some reason.

I also noticed there was a lot of Mexican restaurants in the mountains and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why.

aye, that would be NC. i didn't get much of a conservative vibe from asheville in particular, it seemed like the whole city was a leftist hippie enclave, but i was only there for all of two and a half hours and most of that time was in an art museum
