sounds fucking phenomenal too, even though it's on transparent red (hadn't even realized it was colored until well after i placed the order). but i suppose if they contracted the same plant that does beatles reissues, it's probably a safe assumption said plant has got their shit together.

went in to inquire about RSD stock, stumbled into an 'absolutely everything 35% off one-day-only' sale! their record selection kinda sucked today, but snagged this bad larry at newbury comics for motherfucking $14

also almost bought my bloody valentine/mbv instead, until i saw the price sticker: $50 for a single LP! still would've come up to $35 after discount & taxes, fuuuuuuck that.

they got three copies in, i grabbed one and almost immediately after the other two got scooped up.

edit- also i was just looking at the lyrics insert and realized they really didn't change anything in there from the original pressing in 1998. it still lists their old website address at geocities

A fellating lover called me up this morning -- had some troubles going on and needed a fellating lover around, so I changed my RSD plans from Burlington to the nearest store (he lives in Bennington VT) on the RSD website, a shop in Williamstown.

The fucking hard-on bearer ordered next to nothing. "Oh yeah I ordered a just few things to get people in the store, yknow? But it all went right away when I opened."

There should be a minimum to be listed on the RSD directory.

dang, that is pretty bullshit.

i was talking to my fellating lover that works at the comic shop where i snagged that mahavishnu album, from what he told me the actual quantities they get compared to what they order can be kinda unpredictable. i guess in some cases, they'd order more than what they actually wanted because they get shorted on certain items, sometimes they receive extras they didn't request and are left sitting on 20 copies at the end of the day, etc.

i guess this year, he had them put an order in for a couple copies of the cave-in reissue because he wanted to buy a copy and have one or two available in case any customers wanted it (they don't really do much in terms of metal/heavy stuff, so it wasn't going to be in demand), and they didn't receive any
