I've been drinking beer and listening to old MA tonight, and this old song that Brunelle supposedly wrote is kicking my ass:
<!-- m -->http://youtu.be/PghXzESeWf4<!-- m -->
This track would have fit in perfectly with "Altars of Madness," and I can't believe they didn't use it.
Also, I was reading the "Abominations of Desolation" website earlier tonight, and I'm extremely jealous that I'll never hear the 1984 recordings of MA at the Power Company or any of the old rehearsals... that was back when the band had a serious occult vibe for sure. Hopefully someone will bootleg those recordings someday.

What? The riffs sound completely clear to me. I've certainly heard live recordings that sound much worse.

The song sounds really good. The left channel is fucked for me, though.
