Promoters. Really?

Post by supa tuna »

a few months ago we got offered to play a show on the 19th of this month (next saturday)

when we were offered the show, nothing was said about us selling tickets, even when we asked about it.

i got a text today saying i need to come pick the tickets up before 4:30.

this show has been in the works for MONTHS and they just now tell us that we have to sell tickets.

what the hell?

as long as you didn't pay to play, I would just tell them "sorry mate - should have told us this weeks ago, we'll never sell enough before the show"

yeah, we might not be your "cup-o-tea" though, we're kinda metal core.

just gave all the songs a listen, i'm not into metalcore but those were some pretty cool tunes. blood of a broken dream was probably my favorite next to visceral display.

locust and kept alive are really old songs so they sound a lot different.

we dont try to be metal core, we just write and play what we want, we've got other songs that are heavier and others that are softer.

hopefully soon we'll have some more recordings.

thanks for the good criticism though.
