I finally set up a bank account the other day and while conversing with the banker I told him that I don't trust banks and I only was doing it so I could cash my checks without having to pay money for it. His reaction was of

I remember I got 20$ when I opened my bank account in the US, right off the bat. Had I continued working at the CVS I worked at for another year I would be making as much as my sister in these parts, who's a lawyer with 15 years of experience.
