this. unless it's a band that already impressed me with a previous album/demo and there's no leak (but fagspace samples) to be found and i want it NAO (for example the new Ruins of Beverast, The Chasm, Vengeful, and Mitochondrion when it came out) :redneck:

I have really a small collection of original CDs, don't have enough money to buy my favorite albums. And even when I buy it, I don't want just to poses a CD so I could say it's original, I really appreciate tastefully done booklet with liner notes, artwork and everything (for ex. last Cynic limited edition, it's really cool :greenie: )

I don't buy CDs... but I would like to buy all my favourite albums in vinyl just for the artwork and such.

Also I completely sard the clutter that buying DVDs, CDs and books creates.. maybe if I had a lot more of personal space that'd be fine, but right now I wish I hadn't bought most of the books, DVDs and CDs that I have.

the bad thing about buying cds is that they begin to accumulate and take up a lot of space. i just threw out a shitload of jewel cases the other day. cd folder things :xx::::

its true that they do take up a ton of space. ive got upwards of 300+ cds and 500+ movies but i like having the cases and all instead of doing the cd book thing.

I still buy cd's. Not as nearly as much as I used to... I got a shitload of music and most of it is all original records.

I do download music, ofcourse, but when I REALLY like something, I go out and buy it. To support the bands and such.

I still buy CDs regularly. And I don´t download, except in rare cases when a band releases a controversial album (like the latest Cryptopsy for example) to listen to it before I buy it in case it sucks, or demos/alternate mixes and stuff like that. I do many blind purchases, but I guess I have a "lucky hand", I almost never buy bad stuff.

And for leaking albums before they are released, I hate it. Everytime a long awaited album gets released in stores, all the discussion in the internets about it already is over becuase everybody heard the leaked version already :piss1:

I own like around 2000+ cd's and I also download, but when I like it I buy it.

The sound quality of downloads is audibly inferior to original cd's.
