He's fucking hilarious. He contributes to a show called Newswipe in britain to which is also win.

Or maybe Doug Stanhope's material just pales in comparison to George Carlin's and cynical comedians of a similar caliber.

Stanhope is more misanthropic than cynical. Yes, carlin is of a higher caliber if that how you want to play it, but I dont see any overt reasons to compare the two
