Would anyone still look forward to an official live DVD?

It'd be cool if they got Rutan and Tucker back to do some F, G and H songs (would never happen ) along with Pete Sandoval. A retrospective or documentary type piece with more info about C - today might also be interesting. But other than that it seems like there's more than enough high quality material already widely available (Live Madness, Montreal Bootleg, Festival clips, ect).



I only bring this up because an official live release could be something the band does if they truly have hit a wall but still have contract obligations.

That being said, can anyone recommend/link me a good FREE DVD2AVI or DVD2MPG converter? (so NO VOB2AVI / VOB2MPG, only complete DVD2 a single file.)

Trey has always been the heart of the band, as long as he is there, it's Morbid Angel, no matter what the rest of the line up is.



You want Covenant songs, but not the boring setlist they play. Last year they played almost the complete Covenant album.

but the line up (RUTAN!) of that time was just really strong!

their live-shows were passionate and fruital, even disco d was going crazy on stage (man those were the days)! I don't see me contradicting myself there bro!

MORBID is so NOT about trey (imo his passion about MA is kinda gone) anymore, which is really sad.

sure it's his band after all, he founded it, he was (!) the creative force...those days are over, don't you think?

Of late he looks like he'd rather be anywhere else and his bleating about genres of techno that haven't been cutting edge or extreme since about 1991 is very worrying.

I'd also buy live footage from the first 3 albums, as well as from the Tucker era. I want to share some vidz on the MA forum, but I can't find a DVD2DIVX ripper which rips the complete dvd into 1 file. The ones I find only convert each specific file to another file which makes the conversion useless.



Trey is the main songwriter and without him doing it and Erik Rutan gone Morbid Angel is a nostalgia act. I think they're stil very good live, but not evil anymore.
