i'm not clamoring to see them live or anything but it seems like since idi came out they've done a little bit of touring in europe and zero touring anywhere else. kind of a strange response to an alleged groundbreaking masterpiece?

it's quite a change from the G/H days. MA did three US tours in 2001 alone :alien:

Does it matter? Does anybody want to see a band who really cares about the material that they're playing, or just some nostalgia act going through the motions? I'll admit, the last time I saw MA live was 1995, but from what I've seen recently on YouTube, they're totally lifeless on stage. Yeah, they can technically play the early stuff great, but who couldn't after playing the same songs live for that long?

One of my biggest regrets was that I could have seen them touring for "Heretic," but had a super long week at work where I was just getting back into town the night of the MA show and decided that it'd be better to head home and catch some sleep instead of catching MA play "Heretic" songs live. What a dumbass I was. :frown:
