your 4 most favorite MA riffs in this period ?

Post by Hallucinating dead »

(Keeping unearthly master riffs of "invocation of continual one" aside)

currently my favorites are:

Lord of all fevers and plague (2:04)

secured limitations (solo riff)

Praise the strength(2:54)

dawn of angry (riff 1 and 2)
..For the freedoms and prisons are in the mind..

I'm only going to list one but it's my absolute favorite. This is one of the most immersive moments MA has ever provided me with.

Right, Heretic is pure madness and Within Thy Enemy one of the best tracks,

but I've always wondered why it doesn´t have any solos :tear:

Summoning redemption - the really slimy riff that crawls like a splendid mate of mine. It appears twice, the second one happens before erik's solo. You know the one i mean :xx: to be honest all of that songs riffs are equally damn good.

Blood on my hands main riff

nothing is not - outro crushyness :grimxx:

At one with nothing - that really magical riff behind the second solo. It's easy to not listen to it with that excellent solo going on. It's really beautiful and swirling. Hard to describe.

These are my choices in this period only, and is subject to change. But generally Gateways overall is a riff masterpiece for me :thingy:
